What is Jubensha?
Jubensha is a real life game, originating from China. Jubensha is a mix between a murder mystery ('Cluedo'), 'Werewolves of Wakkerdam' and role-playing (Larp). Goal: find out which of those present is the killer. Or if you are the killer: prevent the others from voting for you. Therefore, it is important what you do and do not share with the other players in the space.
In a number of research rounds you ask questions to solve the murder puzzle(s). You yourself give evasive answers or lie. Each round, evidence items are brought into play. And then you can refute your lie with another lie. At the end, you cast your vote on who you think is the killer. That also determines the end of the story you play out together.
The true winner is the one who has the most fun. We encourage players to enjoy the intellectual exchanges and stories that arise, thus building unforgettable experiences and friendships.
Who is Jubensha for?
You play Jubensha with a fixed number of players (4, 5, 6 or 7 or a multiple of these). Typically, a gender match is not required between player and role. You can play with friends or with your colleagues. or you can use Jubensha as an introduction game. In connection with some themes we find Jubenshas basically suitable for 18+.
Drinks and snacks
Immersion is our goal. Hospitality is important to us. That is why we serve unlimited coffee/tea and water during the Jubensha. Other consumptions can be purchased for a fee.
